Basic Band Fundraising Opportunities |
Henderson Bandfest AdsWe are selling ads for the Henderson Bandfest Program. Due date for ads is September 2, 2008, we accept cash, money order only and business checks (Absolutely NO personal checks will be accepted). Ads may also be e-mailed to MaryKay at marykay@basichighband.com . The Henderson Bandfest is October 4, 2008. Click here for the Bandfest Ad form. 100 % of funds will be posted to student accounts to pay for band fees, (band fees in excess of the current year are carried over to the next year).June 14, 2008 |
Entertainment BooksEntertainment Books go on sale August 25, the 1st day of school. Sooner if they arrive before then. These books have coupons for dining, travel, movie tickets, dry cleaning, groceries, and more. The cost of the book is $20, $10 will be credited to your band student's account. For every 5 books sold students get a free book. You may keep this book or sell it and the $20 will be put in the student band account to pay band fees. Students may check out 2 books at a time, with a phone call or note from a parent more books may be checked out. Last day of sales is September 30.June 14, 2008 |
Cookie DoughWe will be holding a cookie dough fundraiser starting on October 7th. All orders and funds are due on October 15th and cookie dough will come in on October 21st. You can get a perview of the cookies we will be selling at R and M Fundraising . Please let all your friends know we will have cookie dough in October. 40 % of cost will be posted to student accounts.June 14, 2008 |
Band Concert ProgramsThe Basic Band is selling ad space for the Concert Programs. 100 % of funds will be posted to student accounts to pay for band fees, (band fees in excess of the current year are carried over to the next year). There are 3 ways to get sponsors for the program.

Fireworks BoothWe will be running a Fireworks booth at the Albertsons on Boulder Hwy and Lake Mead from Saturday, June 28 - Friday, July 4 from 10am - 10pm. We need all the parents that can help to participate. Students must be at least 14 years old to work in the booth. Sign up sheets will be posted in the band room for students. Parents please let me know which shifts you can work. Shift times are 10am - 1pm; 1pm - 4pm; 4pm - 7pm; and 7pm - 10pm. We need at least 1 adult and 2 students for the 1st 2 shift then 2 adults and 3 students for the 2nd 2 shifts. Student and Parents can earn funds to help pay their band fees. An hourly figure will be determined once we close out the Fireworks booth on July 4th.Call the band office and get your name on the list of workers. 799-8000 ex 4040.June 1, 2008 |
