Woah, swooped in and took 3rd place in our first comp as TRIPLE A this year without being able to rehearse on the field since Tuesday? Band, you are amazing and I am proud. Thank you for your goodness and hard work. :) The wolfpack is smiling tonight.

Let's not draw conclusions now...

Congrats to the 1st place at Finals for the Winter Drumline and Colorguard, and for the superior rating at the Advanced band festival for the Symphonic Band! Jazz Band I performed at festival last friday and is ready to take on the retirement home and the final festival at LVHS next week. The Marching Band also made an appearance at the Heritage parade yesterday, being cheered on all 134,111.98 centimeters of parade route down the historic Water Street District.

This has been an incredible year. I swear it felt like band camp was just a month ago. Where has the time gone! I love you band, we have accomplished alot this year and we all have come out as better performers and musicians than when we started this 2010-2011 adventure. Now, let us end this memorably crazy year with a bang!

Thank you all band members for making this season a dream come true! I am so proud to be apart of the grand legacy of the Basic HS Marching Band! May the performance at our competition tomorrow at Sierra Vista be a monument to everyone, but especially to ourselves of who we are, what we have become, what we have accomplished, and may the years to come look on this one with pride. I love you band, and lets make this a comp to remember!!!
